This is a
Simmon Omega 4×5
double-glass Negative Carrier
for Omega D series enlargers for large format
sheet film.
The carrier has some slight signs
of use, but the glass is fine, no marks or scratches. The opening measures 92x117mm.
The width between the negative guides is 4
inches (117mm).
The width of the carrier
is 8 inches.
The plates are perfectly
flat.
The glass does appear to be
anti-Newton
With the registration slots at the top edge, this set is
referred to as a ‘Type 1’ (Type 2 has holes instead of slots).
